Running from Saturday July 4th to Sunday July 26th 2009, the 96th Tour de France will be made up of 21 stages and will cover a total distance of 3,500 kilometres OR 2,174 mi.
These 21 stages have the following profiles:
10 flat stages,
7 mountain stages,
1 medium mountain stage,
2 individual time-trial stages,
1 team time-trial stage.

Many people could care less about the Tour, but this is one of the most exciting sporting events ever. Especially this year. Lance Armstrong has come out of retirement to help raise awareness for his campaign called Livestrong. People think he is crazy and all about him. Well this video is what he feels… I will be putting up a video a day of Lance Armstrong and his campaign all week long.
